Today marks the week before one of my best friends wedding. An occasion that doesn’t really feel real just yet. I’m sure once I am there it will all hit me and my emotions will get the better of me. Hopefully not too much as he has asked me to MC. A task that a few years ago would have been extremely overwhelming. Just the thought of it would bring nerves flooding through my body, surfacing through my skin as sweat. Today though I am excited. I am honoured to be given the role and responsibility. Hopefully I’ll keep the wedding running smoothly and on schedule.

Today was the traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony for Hien and Mahena. I was asked to bring my camera along to capture a few moments. I try not to get to caught up behind the camera at events that I really want to be present for, because it really takes away from the experience. But being able to look over the photos afterwards is always a special thing in itself.
